Cambodia's efforts to crack down on illegal online gambling are in vain

Illegal gambling is something that the country has repeatedly banned, but the online gambling industry is still thriving. I don’t know whether this is a cause for concern or a case of hypocrisy. Although gambling is illegal for Cambodians, online gambling sites are thriving, and users can easily sign up and deposit money for a variety of sports and casino games. This situation is very contradictory to everyone.

While the Cambodian government has acknowledged the problem and stated that it has not issued any online gambling licenses, in my opinion, enforcement will remain challenging as these sites will continue to cater to Cambodian gamblers with little fear of legal consequences. What do you think? .
