After four years in Cambodia, following the old custom, I always tucked a $5 to $10 tip in my passport to avoid any hassles. Today was no exception.
However, to my surprise, all the procedures went smoothly today without any difficulties! What's more, the customs officer even returned the tip to me, stating sternly, "We do not accept tips!" Honestly, at that moment, I exclaimed, "The times have changed, is this an illusion?"
