I've been in Cambodia for over half a year now, and I've realized the depths of complexity here. There are many dark industrial parks where Chinese scam other Chinese. Once you're scammed, you're left bitter and unable to speak out. Before entering these areas, they treat you like a dear parent, sweet-talking and deceiving, capable of putting on a show for months. Once you're in, they regard you as nothing more than a resource, only caring about your value in their eyes. Those recently relocating from the Philippines to Cambodia need to be wary—the people in this Southeast Asian circle are only out for their own interests.

It's really tough, no job if you don't go.

My company is also preparing to move to Cambodia.
