A few months ago, I moved and arranged for a cleaning company without asking the landlord. I faced the consequences; the agent disappeared, and my deposit was gone. Everyone should think thrice before moving out if you can't contact your agent. No need to think further, they are definitely planning to take your deposit like they did with me. It might even be less costly to skip paying the rent. All I can say is, Manila is really a place that hits a new low.
