I had long heard of the Philippines' Happy Land, but don't be fooled by the name—it's a slum in the Philippines. Seeing their lives, any hardships you've faced would seem trivial. The youngest laborers are just 3 years old, bare-chested, picking up garbage. Their income is not enough to meet their needs, so they are forced to beg on the streets. It's hard to understand why they still have children in such poverty.



The condition of slums in the Philippines is very severe.
