Border controls are particularly strict now. Today, while flying from the Philippines to Dubai, I was held up. I was supposed to go through customs at 17:00, but I was stopped and interrogated for over two hours, and they simply wouldn't let me go. They asked about everything. I just want to ask all the experienced travelers if being turned back will leave a negative record, and if rebooking to another destination will have any impact.
