Malaysia is generally worth visiting. It is not recommended to exchange Malaysian Ringgit at domestic airports as the exchange rate is really poor and the fees are high. It is better to withdraw cash directly from ATMs at Malaysian airports where the exchange rate is reasonable and the fees are relatively cheaper. The food is not expensive, and there are few instances of locals overcharging tourists. The seafood in Semporna is truly excellent. Always bargain when purchasing. I had visited once before for work and didn't have the chance to enjoy myself properly, but this time I finally did as I wished.
