Before, I thought the process was straightforward: sign a bail form, pay the money, and release the person. Unexpectedly, the transaction took place near a 7-11 parking lot close to the detention center. The same vehicle was involved in a previous incident at the Asian Garden. After paying, they released the person only to detain them again, demanding more money for their release. This is outright extortion.
