I was terribly ripped off by Grab in Thailand. I took a taxi from the center of Bangkok to the Grand Palace. The original Grab fare was only 208 Thai Baht, which I had prepaid before getting in the car. After getting out, Grab charged an additional 515 Thai Baht from my bank card for just a 7-kilometer journey, which is really excessive. The key point is that the driver didn't tell me anything.

Thailand is as notorious for scams as the Philippines.
Can I call Grab to complain? The mileage calculated by the system is too low to justify such a high charge.
Philippine Grab is also very tricky.
