Recently, a former colleague asked for financial help to cover some losses, but frankly, there's no obligation to assist. How can such darkness be unmanaged? Some always think they are the exception.

Do we have any choices? They are all pretty much the same.
There is no freedom there, spending most of one's life trapped there typing on a keyboard!
Do you still want to go there if it means being locked in a small dark room, subjected to electric baton treatment, and only getting one meal a day?
As long as you can move, you must work.
