The Ministry of Interior of Cambodia has intensified its efforts to monitor and address issues of illegal immigration and visa overstay. Initially focusing on Phnom Penh, the efforts will then expand to all provinces nationwide. Due to its proximity to the Cambodia-Thailand border, Banteay Meanchey Province will be given priority.
