The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) has canceled the birth certificates of foreigners working for POGO and confiscated their assets.
Attorney General Menardo Guevarra stated that the crackdown on POGOs will not end even after the foreign workers leave by the deadline of December 31, 2024, set by President Ferdinand Marcos.
Guevarra said, "The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation's massive task after shutting down offshore gaming companies will include canceling all birth certificates obtained by foreigners through fraudulent means, and confiscating their illegally acquired real estate and other assets in the Philippines."
When asked about the estimated amount of assets to be confiscated, Guevarra mentioned that there is no definite figure yet.
Guevarra emphasized, "The priority is to occupy and control them."
Guevarra also mentioned that the OSG will soon announce the estimated amount of assets fraudulently obtained by foreign POGO workers.
In short, Chinese nationals who have processed birth certificates (passports) in the Philippines are about to be harvested.

OSG will cancel the birth certificates related to POGO and confiscate assets.
