The incident occurred around 7:30 AM on December 30, 2024, when five suspects drove into the victim's residence. They were armed with a gun of unknown caliber and used handcuffs and tape to restrain the victim's hands and face before beginning the robbery. The stolen items included 20 various iPhones, one Android phone, one HP laptop, a gold necklace and bracelet, an iWatch SE2, a gold watch, and 46,000 Philippine pesos in cash. Additionally, when the suspects left, they also took the victim's Lexus car along with various documents and paperwork associated with the vehicle, totaling a value of 5.886 million pesos.

Fortunately, the victim's life was not threatened. After escaping, he immediately reported the incident to the Makati Police Station. The police, through active, continuous, coordinated efforts, achieved a significant breakthrough on January 1, 2025, and arrested the main suspect at 3 AM in the parking lot on Fernando Street in Pio Del Pilar Barangay, Makati City. This 33-year-old Chinese citizen, who previously lived at the victim's residence, also disclosed the location of the stolen vehicle, which was successfully recovered around 3:22 AM in a parking lot in BGC.

Following the arrest of the main suspect, the other four suspects were subsequently apprehended. Further actions led to the arrest of the remaining suspects and the recovery of the stolen items, including the Lexus.

However, according to police reports, there are still many suspicious aspects of the case: the main suspect had previously lived at the victim's residence, suggesting the possibility of an inside job; the suspects not only stole money and valuables but also specifically targeted a vehicle along with its documents and paperwork, indicating a premeditated act.
