The Thai government operates like this, slowly tightening controls once enough people have entered, then they start taking action. In recent months, so many Chinese have come from the Philippines, and the Thai government is well aware of this. Plus, the incident a few days ago, where four Chinese were arrested in a Bangkok apartment, all on DTV visas.
A reminder to our Thai compatriots: if your DTV or student visa applications are packaged by an agency, you could face issues if inspected. How can you prove that your job matches these visas?
