Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Pah Soh, stated on Monday (January 6) that the discussion on this work is expected to be completed in the coming months.
Pah Soh mentioned that online gambling is a significant issue in Thai society, associated with many social ills, criminal activities among the youth, and issues related to money mules creating bank proxy accounts and online fraud.
Legalizing online gambling could help regulate the industry and combat the creation of fake bank accounts, online gambling, fraud, and the theft of personal data.
Every day, between 2.5 to 4 million Thais engage in online gambling. Although a large number of websites offering such services were banned in 2020, the issue has not been completely eradicated.

The Thai government has begun to explore the legalization of online gambling in order to regulate the industry and better address related social issues.

Whoever takes on POGO will be cursed.
It's impossible, POGO is hard to manage and doesn't generate revenue.

Boss, what others are referring to might be the local gambling industry, not POGO. Aren't you paying attention to the question?
Reply Agnes : Oh, indeed I didn't look carefully. Indeed, it didn't mention POGO.

"One moment it changes, who would believe that?"
