The President of the Philippines' Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) reported that law enforcement officers raided a POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) den located in the Silang area of Cavite Province, arresting 29 foreigners, including a Chinese national who was allegedly in charge.
According to a report released by PAOCC, the operation stemmed from a report by the owner of a private resort in the Lalaan II area. The owner reported to the authorities that there were foreigners engaging in suspicious activities at the resort. Subsequently, a joint operation team consisting of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, the Bureau of Immigration, the Cavite Provincial Police Office, and PAOCC conducted a raid on the resort.
During the operation, a total of 29 foreigners were arrested, including 22 Chinese citizens and 6 Myanmar citizens. Law enforcement officers also seized a large amount of electronic equipment, including laptops and other tools suspected of being used for illegal activities.
A Chinese national suspected of being the leader of the den denied the allegations during interrogation. He argued, "There is no such thing as a boss." According to the Cavite Provincial Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), these POGO workers have been residing at the resort since December last year. To evade detection, they used laptops instead of desktop computers and each person used an independent mobile WiFi instead of a shared router.
Currently, the police have confiscated the involved electronic devices as evidence and are further investigating the related fraud activities.

Recently, there have been many incidents in Krabi, and even Mindanao is getting involved.
It must be a scam, to invest so much willingly.

Office costs are really high, all with separate WIFI.
Is this the 29 people from yesterday?
Krabi's glory is no more
