Early on the 15th, they met with the Secretary for Security, John Lee, to report on their work and discuss further actions.
On the 15th, the Deputy Secretary for Security of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Sonny Au, stated that currently, 11 Hong Kong residents are detained in Myanmar and one in Cambodia. They were deceived by recruitment or so-called proxy shopping activities, made contact with the groups on their own, and were captured in Bangkok. None of the 12 individuals were detained while traveling in Thailand.
