The gendarmerie conducted a raid on an illegal online gambling website in a park located in Phnom Penh on January 19, 2025, at 4:20 PM.
The raided park is Boao, where hundreds of gendarmes rushed in last night. Many companies had already relocated earlier yesterday, and most of the betting stations in the park were moved out by yesterday afternoon, leaving behind a Japanese bookmaker and about a hundred Vietnamese pushers. Those who remained became cannon fodder.
