BBC media reports; BGF spokesperson General Naing Maung Zaw told reporters: According to the instructions of BGF leader Aung San Suu Kyi and two military commanders, the Myawaddy Dongmei Garden area (garden business) where Chinese actor Wang Xing was kidnapped has been closed.
The BGF spokesperson stated that the land was leased for the future development of the Myawaddy Lower region, and they have reached an agreement with businessmen not to conduct such large-scale money laundering activities within the buildings. BGF announced on January 22 that it will not only cooperate regionally but also internationally to combat online scam gangs.
The BGF border defense forces have already closed the Dongmei Park in Myawaddy where Wang Xing was kidnapped.
