According to the Greek media outlet pelop.gr, a major international crime case has recently occurred in Greece. A Chinese woman was arrested at the port of Patras while attempting to travel to Italy, suspected of involvement in a pyramid scheme amounting to billions of dollars. Based on an international arrest warrant, the woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Currently, China is awaiting the outcome of the Greek court's review of its extradition request.
The report states that the woman obtained a residence permit through Greece's "Golden Visa" program. This program allows non-EU citizens to obtain long-term residence rights in Greece by purchasing a certain amount of property, and to enjoy free movement within the EU. In recent years, this policy has attracted a large number of legitimate investors but has also sparked controversy, with some using it as a haven to evade legal issues. The woman was arrested while trying to travel to Italy from the port of Patras and has been detained ever since. She has applied for temporary release through her lawyer, expressing willingness to accept restrictive conditions. Her lawyer stated that the woman needs to take care of her 4-year-old child who is attending kindergarten in Greece, as she has no close relatives in Greece to take care of the child.
However, the court rejected this request. Moreover, the international arrest warrant clearly states that the woman has been convicted of participating in economic fraud activities amounting to billions of dollars. The defendant denies involvement in the case and claims to be unaware of the verdict, also stating her refusal to be extradited to China.

The "Jintata scam" is just a pyramid scheme, right?
Holy shit, several billion dollars.
The case is too big, it's internationally wanted, one must be content with their earnings.

Large-scale fraud is still dominated by these financial scammers in the domestic market.
Awesome

This is the pinnacle of fraud.
Compared to this, all other pans are just little brothers.
