Today is Monday and I went to the immigration office, there was a bit of traffic on the way. When I arrived at the entrance, a staff member named Xiao Fei proactively came up to ask what services I needed. After a brief consultation, Xiao Fei mentioned that those with POGO records currently cannot leave the country and must wait for new policies. She also left her contact information, saying she would notify me if there were any updates.
However, to be safe, I still went to the main hall of the immigration office. Entry required an ID, fortunately, I had my driver's license with me. After consulting at the front desk, I received a form and was directed to windows 32-34 for processing. After explaining my situation (having a POGO record and having had my visa downgraded but returned to the Philippines), the staff were quite friendly and said that I needed to wait as new policies might be introduced this week. They reassured me that the delay during this period was not a big issue and not to worry too much.
As for those scamming agents, claiming that you would get arrested if you went? That's complete nonsense! Agents take your money and make you wait; once the policy is out, it's just a matter of paying some fines, and the agents end up taking the lion's share, so there's really no need to be fooled by them. The "can handle" claims on small planes are mostly tricks; everyone should be more cautious! If you have any issues, it's much more reliable to consult directly with the immigration office!

All these agents I know are just f**king creating anxiety every day, why don't they arrest them?
They are not breaking the law.

The intermediary actually exploits the information gap.

The presence of intermediaries still serves a purpose, as they help simplify many aspects that would otherwise require your attention.

Please renew your passport or clear customs before you talk.
