Currently, due to urgent matters, I need to return to my country, but there is an issue with my tourist visa being overdue. I am not on the blacklist and have a record of a Provisional Work Permit (PWP). After consulting a travel agency, they provided two exit strategies:

1. Secured exit (let the travel agency assist with the procedures to ensure a smooth departure)

2. Travel to an outer island (such as Cebu) and fly back to the country

I would like to ask friends who have had similar experiences recently, which method is safer and more reliable? Are there any other more secure solutions? Thank you!

Buy the plane ticket and go directly to the airport immigration to pay the fine.

Go to the airport yourself to pay the fine, don't trust the words of doggy intermediaries.

Either wait for the immigration policy or take a shortcut.

If there are no complications, renewing customs clearance will be quick. You mentioned "pwp", you mean your pwp is handled by Pogo company, right? If it's Pogo's pwp, it's difficult to manage.
