A friend went to Dubai for the gambling industry, only to find that it was completely inconsistent with the promises made during the interview, and they were tragically deceived!
1. Salary deductions, visa fraud, and discovered to be "illegal labor" upon joining
The salary was deducted under various pretexts, and the actual income was far lower than promised.
Only upon arrival did they discover it was a tourist visa, with no legal working status, and they could be deported at any time.
Colleagues were taken away by the police due to the tourist visa, and although eventually "smoothed over," the process was perilous and affected their entry record.
2. Poor living conditions, no security guarantee
The area was chaotic, and my friend encountered several terrorist attacks, making it extremely dangerous to go out at night.
The dormitory was remote, with frequent thefts, and even room searches in the middle of the night, leaving no privacy.
There was no hot water for showers, and meals had to be self-prepared, but there was absolutely no time for shopping.
3. Excessive working hours, vacation time was a scam
Shift work, finishing the night shift and returning to the dormitory at three in the morning, then sleeping for only 4 hours before having to get up for the morning shift.
To save costs, the shuttle bus was overloaded, and if you couldn't get on, you had to find your own way back to the dormitory.
The number of vacation days was severely inconsistent with the contract, and it was all a trap discovered only after joining.
4. Want to assert your rights? Impossible!
My friend tried to complain, but it was completely useless, as the company was not afraid of foreign employees asserting their rights.
Want to resign? They were immediately asked to leave the country, with no buffer time, making it difficult even to flee.
The glamorous surface of Dubai, with its utter filthiness behind.

This is not bad, at least there is freedom.
The park in Myanmar is horizontal, and you can even climb over the wall and run across the river; the park in Dubai is vertical, and you just fly away directly.

Everyone thinks it's better over there; those who have been in "finance" for ages have all run off to that place.
Many think they can become a chief in Dubai, but end up being a prison warden.

Once the passport is collected, you are directly locked in; if you don't comply, you will have to pay compensation.
The scam parks are mostly concentrated in one area, the city center is okay though.
To be honest, sweatshops are more humane than the parks, as now Dubai parks are as common as hairs on a cow.

Your situation is already much better than the industrial park; at least you can still walk, it's just a bit of blood and sweat.
The Dubai park said with a smile, "That's not the case."
