Five Chinese citizens who successfully escaped from a scam park in Myawaddy, eastern Myanmar, were intercepted by the Thai military. The five Chinese citizens are:
1. Mr. Huang Wen, 29 years old
2. Mr. Song Hong, 22 years old
3. Mr. Li Jie, 21 years old
4. Mr. Li Hong, 28 years old
5. Mr. Yang Xiong, 34 years old
None of these individuals had passports. According to their statements translated, they previously worked in the Myawaddy area of Myanmar and planned to return to China, hence they smuggled across the Moei River into Thailand. The relevant departments have transferred them to the Tak Province Immigration Office in Thailand and will contact the Chinese Embassy in Thailand for further investigation and legal proceedings.
