Five Chinese citizens who successfully escaped from a scam park in Myawaddy, eastern Myanmar, were intercepted by the Thai military. It is reported that on the evening of January 30, the five Chinese nationals successfully escaped from a scam park in the Myawaddy area of Kayin State, Myanmar, and attempted to enter the Mae Pa village in the 4th District of Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand. During their escape, they encountered the Thai military on patrol and were subsequently intercepted and arrested. Investigations revealed that these five men had worked in the Myawaddy scam group and decided to flee back to their country as they no longer wished to engage in related activities.
Currently, they are detained at the Mae Sot Immigration Office, and the Thai authorities will deport them back to China after legal proceedings. On January 31, 2025, reports from Thai journalists indicated that on the evening of January 30 at 8:30 PM, the Thai Rachamanut Special Forces and related departments jointly carried out anti-drug and anti-human trafficking operations, successfully discovering five Chinese men illegally crossing the border into Thailand in the Mae Sot District of Tak Province.
The five Chinese citizens are:
1. Mr. Huang Wen, 29 years old
2. Mr. Song Hong, 22 years old
3. Mr. Li Jie, 21 years old
4. Mr. Li Hong, 28 years old
5. Mr. Yang Xiong, 34 years old
None of these individuals had passports. According to their statements translated, they previously worked in the Myawaddy area of Myanmar and planned to return to China, hence they smuggled across the Moei River into Thailand. The relevant departments have transferred them to the Tak Province Immigration Office in Thailand and will contact the Chinese Embassy in Thailand for further investigation and legal proceedings.

Movies indeed come from life, and life is far more awesome than movies.

Really exciting
I'm curious how they managed to escape? The security is usually very strict on the Irrawaddy side, it's quite a feat to cross the Moei River into Thailand.
Previously caught ones were sent back to the park directly, but now under great pressure, they dare not do so anymore.

The Thai military is probably used to it, as they can catch quite a few every month.

The people from Myawaddy wanted to flee; half died on the way, half were captured. These five were lucky; at least they could be repatriated.

In Thailand, they definitely deport directly. People who escape from Myawaddy are basically sent back to their country. These few are probably going to be invited for tea.

It's already a miracle that he managed to escape from the Irrawaddy, only to be stopped by the Thai military.

Awesome!!
Those who can run out are really talented.

Running is really like playing a dungeon raid, one boss after another.
