In other words, if you are in Japan and participate in the development of a gambling website, you could be considered as "assisting in gambling" or "operating a gambling establishment," which carries significant risks, especially since you are Chinese.

If the person or company employing you is targeted by Japanese police, your personal record could also be affected.

Even if you are working remotely, Japan might still consider you as providing "assistance in gambling" services, especially in projects involving financial transactions.

If Japanese police engage in international cooperation, you could face arrest, deportation, or even be banned from re-entering Japan.

Don't assume that just because the website does not involve Japanese people or there are no explicit regulations in Japan, it is safe. There have been similar cases before. I advise all brothers in Japan to think twice and avoid venturing into this gray area, lest you find yourself in trouble one day.
