Philippine Bureau of Immigration latest news: POGO-related personnel can now extend their 9A tourist visas!

Breaking news: The Philippine Bureau of Immigration has updated the visa policy for POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) employees. Now, as long as they are not listed on the ALO, BLO, or HDO lists, 9A tourist visas can be normally renewed!

Here are the details:

Those with a history of POGO/IGL must leave the country by December 31, 2024, and can re-enter in 2025 without being on the blacklist, and can now normally renew their 9A tourist visa!

Those who previously had POGO records can still enter the country and apply for other visas as long as they are not on the ALO/BLO/WLO lists!

If still in the Philippines but not on the ALO list, they can follow last year's process to handle MR-OTL departure, which is not considered deportation!

If already on the ALO, BLO, or WLO list, the only option is to proceed with voluntary deportation!

In summary: Those not on the blacklist can now normally renew their tourist visas! However, if still in the Philippines, it is advised to promptly check if one is on the list to avoid complications during departure.

Basically, everyone involved in gambling is at ALO, this policy is of no practical use.
