Recently, I've noticed that many people, like myself, have either lost their passports or have had them "lost" for various reasons, leading to an inability to find work and wandering in the Philippines. Those without friends can only hang around in casinos, while those with friends can stay with them for a while, but this is not a long-term solution.
Casinos are not charitable organizations; the free drinks, water, electricity, and WiFi they provide daily are all costs. If you linger for a long time without playing, you will eventually be targeted. Yesterday, I stayed too long at COD and was warned by security to "go home and rest." I was blacklisted in the early morning for staying too long without spending and was asked to sign a document, which I refused and left.
Now that the new year has passed, the situation in February is slightly better, but many companies that were shut down haven't resumed operations, and many have moved to Makati or directly to a third country. I heard that some companies might return in March, but who knows? Currently, those without passports can only seek employment with companies that do not require one, survive first, and then figure out a way. Save some money to get a travel document, sort out visa issues, and then decide whether to return to your country or go to another.
The POGO ban in the Philippines continues, and companies that moved to Thailand found that work visas are difficult to arrange, so they might also gradually move to other places. It's hard to know what to keep fighting for...
I'm confused.

With the time you spend posting, why not go find a job?
"Can you introduce yourself?"

Every pitiful person has their hateful side.
hits home
Obtaining a work visa for Thailand is difficult; companies that relocate to Thailand will eventually have to leave.
Your organs are the only valuable thing about you.

Go look in the mirror, do you find yourself looking like a dog?
Aren't you too?

It's really hard to be undocumented in the Philippines.
