The Bureau of Immigration (BI) of the Philippines recently launched a large-scale enforcement action, focusing on cracking down on illegal entry and identity fraud. Joel Anthony Viado, the Director of the Bureau, emphasized that forging the identity of a Filipino citizen is not only fraudulent but could also pose a threat to national security.
Raid Operation: A Chinese citizen was arrested for forging identity
On February 20, the Bureau of Immigration conducted a raid in a commercial building in Bacoor City, Cavite Province, arresting a Chinese citizen, Li Jiafu (transliterated), suspected of forging identity.
According to the investigation by the Bureau, Li Jiafu used the alias "Li Charlie Sevilla" and possessed a suspected forged Filipino birth certificate and passport.
Three more Chinese citizens detained over work visa issues
In addition to Li Jiafu, the Bureau also detained three other Chinese citizens holding work visas. Investigations revealed that the actual employers of these three individuals did not match the companies registered at the time of their work visa applications, constituting a violation of Philippine immigration laws.
Viado stated that the Bureau will continue to intensify enforcement efforts to strictly combat illegal entry and identity fraud, in order to maintain the integrity of the immigration management system.
Detained individuals will be held in custody, awaiting deportation review
Currently, all detained individuals have been sent to the immigration detention center in Taguig City, awaiting further legal procedures, including deportation review.
The Bureau of Immigration reminds all foreign nationals in the Philippines to comply with Philippine immigration regulations, or face severe legal consequences.

It seems that we will have to wait until the end of this year.
It's just asking for money again, over and over.

How does a visa issue pose a major threat to the national security of the Philippines? Are they making atomic bombs to bomb the Philippines?

Catching you requires no reason.

How do you prove that he is not working on the visa?
Are they now cracking down on affiliations too?? Are they sick?

This road is completely blocked, it's basically game over.
