I've been living in the Philippines for 12 years, having completely severed all ties with my home country. My new life and social relationships are all here, and my children go to school here as well.
Reflecting on the past, everything was peaceful here. Everything could be openly discussed, and companies would hang banners at the entrance of New World during annual meetings. We could work normally in office buildings, and after work, everyone could gather to enjoy skewers, go to KTV, visit SM for fun, or enjoy the sea breeze by the Ferris wheel at the beach.
Now, the overall environment has changed, and the industries no longer exist. How many people are reluctant to accept this? This place was never truly your home. It was a place where you, me, and others once pushed the industry to its peak; it was also a place where you, me, and others turned the industry into a nightmare of kidnapping and slaughter.
There's a sense of helplessness, an environment that cannot be changed by one person alone.

No one wants to see the Philippines like this today, but no one can do anything about it.

Most of the people around have left.

So you're not planning to go back?

If those garbage from Cambodia hadn't come, it would have turned out like this today.

Then you went to Cambodia.
Everyone has a responsibility to become like this.
People who live in the past achieve nothing.

Look forward
If you can't go back, find a new place.
Before, it was quite nice. Every New Year's Eve, the area around SM would be packed with people counting down together.
Yes, during the New Year's Eve celebration, there were so many people that there was no signal or network available.
