These involved beating, imprisoning, or brutally killing gambling personnel, which was abhorrent to both gods and humans, leading to Marcos's vow to abolish POGO during his term.

However, currently, Marcos is actively promoting online gambling among Filipinos, which is essentially a path to self-destruction.
