The police in the Philippines are a joke.

My friend managed to escape after being kidnapped and was taken to the police station by local residents for help. However, the response from the police was disappointing.

When we arrived at the police station, we found some officers scrolling through their phones, others chatting and eating sunflower seeds, displaying a very lax attitude towards handling the case. By the time we reached the station, nearly an hour had passed since my friend's escape, yet the police only sent two officers to briefly inspect the scene and retrieve surveillance footage.

The surveillance footage clearly showed:

- The kidnapper's appearance, including physical characteristics and clothing.

- The exact time of the incident, the escape route, and direction were all clearly visible; they didn't even have time to change clothes, and one could easily catch them by asking around along the way.

- If the police had acted immediately, without waiting for us to arrive, they could have almost certainly captured the kidnapper.

However, the police did not take immediate action, and the case was repeatedly delayed and eventually led nowhere. Such inefficiency in handling the case is truly hard to believe.

The kidnapping case in Makati has been unresolved for a considerable time, and the suspect remains at large. The Philippine government has repeatedly promised to crack down on crime, but similar cases continue to occur, leading one to question the effectiveness and execution of law enforcement.

At that time, my friend had just escaped from the kidnappers and was directly taken to the police station by locals. We had to rely on the police, as it was impossible to find the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) immediately. Moreover, who would have thought that the police would be so passive in handling the case?

Fighting crime cannot rely solely on verbal promises; real execution is key!

This time, it's because the students from international schools are involved that they are so enthusiastic. If it were you, would you be as eager? I saw through it early on.

Just look at the cases, isn't it all ransom paid by themselves? How much of it is their rescue?

When encountering kidnappers, you are very timid, but when facing you with glasses, you show no mercy.

They crack down on POGO and make money, but there's no gain in fighting kidnapping, and they even lose their lives.

What's the use of relying on AKG?
