On March 4, 2025, Major General Trairong Phiwpaen and others from the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) in Mueang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand, disclosed details of a major operation against a telecom fraud gang.
It was revealed that last night (March 3) at around 11:30 PM, Thai police, acting on a total of 102 arrest warrants, successfully apprehended 93 suspects charged and arrested.
These suspects were involved in a transnational telecom fraud case. However, two arrest warrants have been issued for a Chinese boss within the gang, but these two suspects have already fled.
Of the 93 arrested suspects, 48 women are detained at the Technology Crime Suppression Division, while 45 men are held at Pak Kret Police Station, Nonthaburi Police Station, and Thung Song Hong Police Station.
