In the Chapter One Eco residential community in the Huay Kwang district of Bangkok, Thailand, over a dozen Thai police officers forcibly unlocked a room in Building D, where they discovered servers used for telecommunications fraud. These advanced converters can operate without a SIM card, and to maintain stable signal, the fraud syndicates opt to rent apartments or houses close to mobile signal towers. It seems endless; they just can't catch them all. The tenant of this room was Chinese. Due to the actions of these fraudsters, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Chinese nationals to rent properties in Thailand.

China and Thailand issue a joint statement to thoroughly combat fraud and illegal gambling.
