According to Thai media reports, on the evening of March 4th at 9 PM, Bangkok police led a task force to raid a gambling den located in a warehouse on Pho Kaew Lane in the Bang Khae area of Bangkok.
Prior to this, the task force received a tip-off from an informant that there was a gathering of people illegally gambling (poker) inside the warehouse. Subsequently, the police immediately took action and successfully arrested 52 gamblers, including Thais and foreigners, and seized 17 items related to the case, with the chips having a total value of approximately 51.41 million Thai Baht.
After police interrogation, all suspects admitted to participating in illegal poker gambling, using property as chips.
The police then took the suspects and the evidence to the 4th Division of Crime Suppression at the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Station for case registration, and transferred these suspects to the Lat Phrao Police Station for legal proceedings.
