The second batch of Chinese citizens has arrived in Thailand and will be repatriated from March 6 to March 9, totaling 1439 people!

Today (March 6, 2025), the second batch of Chinese citizens rescued by the BGF armed forces in Myawaddy, Kayin State, Myanmar, during the operation against telecom fraud gangs will be repatriated to China. The entire repatriation operation will last for 4 days (from March 6 to March 9).

Thai authorities have arranged buses to go to the Myanmar side, and transport Chinese citizens via the second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge. During the repatriation process, officials from the Chinese Embassy and representatives of the Chinese police will accompany them.

After arriving at the Thai Mesot No. 2 border checkpoint, Thai immigration officials will refuse entry according to procedure, collect personal identity information and photos, and enter them into the immigration blacklist system.

Subsequently, they will be sent to Mesot International Airport to board a chartered flight by China Southern Airlines back to China.

Today, March 6, it is expected that there will be 6 flights, with 76 people per flight, totaling 456 people repatriated on the day.
