Residents of Chiang Mai express their concerns about this issue, as it might drive up land prices due to the purchasing power of the Chinese.

For Chiang Mai, considered a second-tier city in Thailand, many locals are now voicing their concerns as more and more Chinese begin to settle there, with some housing projects even exclusively inhabited by Chinese.
