Chinese man arrested for illegally crossing into Thailand from Poipet

This morning, a Chinese man was caught by the Thai border patrol as he illegally entered Thailand from Poipet, Cambodia.

Upon inspection, the man did not carry any identification documents, but he claimed to be a 23-year-old from Guangxi, China, and a victim of a scam at a cyber fraud park in Poipet, Cambodia. He stated that after working in the cyber fraud park for two months, he finally had the chance to escape this morning and decided to cross the border into Thailand, seeking help to return to his country.

However, the Thai border authorities are skeptical about the man's claims and are currently conducting further investigations.
