Oops! A Chinese man in Xigang kidnapped two women.

The Sihanoukville Provincial Police Department received a report that two Cambodian women were kidnapped by a Chinese man and illegally detained in a room of a Chinese-funded hotel in District 4 of Sihanoukville, requesting police intervention.

After receiving the report, the Sihanoukville police quickly deployed and soon found the two Cambodian women along with the Chinese "kidnapper."

By 9 o'clock last night, after the police had completed basic questioning, the Cambodian women were allowed to go home. The Chinese man, however, was kept at the police station to await further investigation.

According to informed sources, the incident was triggered by an argument between the Chinese man and his Cambodian wife, which led her to call the police.
