According to Thai media reports, Chinese individuals have contacted an apartment starting with "M" in the Mong Thong Thani area of Nonthaburi Prefecture, Thailand, requesting to rent a large number of rooms. This mass rental activity immediately attracted the high attention of the local authorities.
Normally, renting an apartment is nothing strange, but what is odd is that this group wants to rent 1,000 rooms all at once. With such a large number, it is hard for law enforcement not to suspect whether the use of the property is legal.
Even stranger, every time these Chinese tenants order lunch for delivery, the quantity is very large. There was even a broker helping to contact, offering 20,000 Thai Baht per room per month. When the broker asked about the purpose, the tenants vaguely indicated that it was for telecommunications business, but it was not clear what exactly that entailed.
Investigators went to the scene to understand the situation, and local residents reported that they often saw these Chinese people coming and going, but no one knew exactly what they were doing. Some residents even felt that their movements were suspicious; apart from coming down to pick up lunch or going to a nearby convenience store to buy things, they hardly ever went out.
Currently, the Thai authorities have stated that they have not yet made contact with the apartment's management, but law enforcement will not ignore the situation. They have requested enhanced security monitoring and have notified local police and immigration police to be on alert.
The latest inspection found that the apartment has a total of 1,099 rooms, but only 4 foreigners were legally registered as residents. The authorities are now preparing to evict all tenants suspected of illegal activities.
Asking for 1000 rooms right off the bat?! It's inevitable for such high-profile incidents to happen when pushing Thailand like this.

I'm fed up.
Stupid stuff
Thailand can enforce the law again.
Scattered points, it's making me anxious.
Why don't you just work next to the Capitol building?
This place has no 300 taels of silver.
Isn't this tantamount to telling others that I'm involved in gambling or fraud, come and catch me?
To pull off something of this scale, you need to have some brains.
