Since leaving home, it has been a year now, and time really flies. Some say there is no true affection in Southeast Asia, only interests. But sometimes, seeing some genuinely caring friends around, I still feel a bit of warmth in a foreign land.
However, looking back at those companies or individuals who only care about immediate benefits and not the long-term, I miss the simple and pure feeling of "home" from the beginning.
This year, I've been involved in various projects from detailed discussions to less detailed ones, quick executions, and direct interventions (these projects are not aimed at the Chinese market, as Chinese do not deceive Chinese, I have some professional integrity 😂). Of course, I didn't make much money, but I gained a lot along the way, and everyone I collaborated with was like a teacher.
I'd like to slightly complain about the current state of the industry: many companies still insist on "using their own people." There's nothing wrong with using one's own people, but some really aren't up to the task, and forcing them is really like "making an international joke." Times have changed, not like a few years ago, the market has shifted, companies are no longer money printing machines, and everyone can feel the current difficulties.
Yet, some people are still "running alongside," not considering efficiency or outcomes, treating everyone's time as a joke.
But after all, the path is chosen by oneself. The company that once made me work hard ultimately led me to complete disappointment, those few cold replies, like a knife, stabbed in my heart, also became the last straw that made me decide to leave.
I hope my peers can all be safe and sound, whether pushing forward or managing, and return home gloriously soon. Also, a word of advice to some managers: don't blindly trust "your own people," when it's time to use talented individuals, let them take charge, think outside the box, perhaps then there will be a turning point.

Teach me to chat skillfully, master.
I'm a half-baked expert.
You are such a positive scammer that there are none left.
Summary: Got fired, feel the company is heartless.
Listening to you is better than reading ten years of books.
You've said a lot, but what exactly did you say?
