The Mayor of Makati stated that the current head of PACCO (Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission), Gilbert Cruz, was formerly the Chief of Makati Police, hence there is already a solid foundation for cooperation, which will aid in enhancing the collaboration between the city government and PAOC to jointly combat illegal activities.

She pointed out that currently, some POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) exploit technological loopholes to apply for licenses under the guise of IT companies, but their actual operations are not as such, which constitutes illegal activity. Therefore, the government needs to strengthen coordination with building owners and include clauses in leasing contracts that allow building management or the city government to inspect the actual operations of businesses at any time to ensure their operations are legal and compliant.
