Sri Lanka is really freaking boring.

The place is so dull that you constantly want to go to the casino. The girls in the clubs here are terrible, loose, and overpriced, incomparable to Dubai, and the food variety is also less than in Dubai.

Eating out in restaurants incurs a 30% consumption tax and VAT, truly the level of a developed country, with the country relying on imports for 70% of its needs. Other than taxis, the only convenience is that taxis are cheap. The locals are very poor, unable to afford even slippers.

However, there are also advantages; the environment is cleaner than in India, and the security is also good.
