Manila Chinese Gangster Hu Yang's Dark History

As early as July 2023, netizens in the community exposed a man named Hu Yang, who has been notorious in the Philippines since 2022, known as "Brother 7", suspected of long-term involvement in violent crimes, drug abuse, kidnapping, extortion, attacking gambling dens, and even threatening to control employees and monitor supervisor vehicles. The exposure described him as a "murderous maniac, fully equipped with all vices."

By September 2024, news broke that Hu Yang was arrested in a robbery case, widely circulated online as "Manila's number one kidnapper." This arrest was also believed to be related to the "BMW shooting case."

The shooting incident occurred in the early hours of September 21, 2024, at Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City, Manila. A conflict erupted after a collision between a Honda Odyssey and a BMW, followed by a shootout between the parties. The police arrived at the scene and seized two 9mm pistols, an M4 air gun, and other weapons. Subsequently, a Chinese man named Lin was arrested in the Barangay Jade area, suspected to be Hu Yang himself. Netizens confirmed "Lin is Hu Yang" after comparing photos from the scene.

There were also rumors that he used a fake identity "Lin Zihao" to post bail and quietly left jail through bribery. Sure enough, it wasn't long before netizens claimed to have seen him again.

In fact, as early as August 2023, the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) had issued a notice, wanted Hu Yang and others. At that time, he was suspected of conspiring with others to kidnap two Chinese women and demanded a ransom of up to 50 million pesos. Although the hostages were rescued, the robbers escaped.

Now, with the recent incident of "BJMP prison van being hijacked on the highway," Hu Yang's name has been mentioned again, with suspicions that he might be involved in this jailbreak case.

From multiple kidnappings, shootouts, scams, to confrontations with the police, Hu Yang has indeed become one of the representative figures of the Philippine underworld. His frequent "arrests and disappearances" also raise public concerns about corruption and the gray areas in the Philippine law enforcement system.

Whether Hu Yang will truly be brought to justice this time remains to be observed.

They are actually lackeys of some big bosses; if the boss doesn't leave, the lackeys won't leave either.
