Comment on the safety of jungling in Sri Lanka.

I have visited many countries and can share my past posts. I have been to Sri Lanka several times, and it's actually quite simple to know whether Sri Lanka is suitable for "jungling."

This country is a poor one, and it even went bankrupt before. From 2023 to 2024, it barely recovered with the help of IMF relief and loans from China, so it has received aid from many countries.

Especially from China. China is deeply involved in several major projects such as the Hambantota Port and Colombo Port City. The whole country is pro-China, and Sri Lanka is very active in many cases related to China. Besides, China and Sri Lanka have an extradition clause, which is different from the Philippines.

So the conclusion is clear, you just need to look at which country your company operates in. If your company operates in China, then once you are caught in Sri Lanka, it is hard to get effective protection.

The key point is this: "If your company's business is facing a powerful country, Sri Lanka cannot protect you; if it is a weaker country, you might consider staying there, as Sri Lanka will not cooperate."

As for the security concerns that many people care about, it varies from person to person. There are frequent murder cases here, but I believe that this is normal for any country. Safety depends on personal circumstances and should not be generalized.
