Details of the Feihua Steel Trader Ticket Tearing Case Exposed: Three Arrested, Two Chinese Masterminds Fleeing, Suspected to Be Related to Offshore Gambling Clearing

The Philippine police recently announced that three suspects involved in the kidnapping and murder of Chinese businessman Anson Tan (also known as Anson Que) and his driver Armanie Pabillo have been arrested, one of whom is a Chinese national who surrendered himself, while the other two were captured in Palawan province.

It is reported that on March 29 at 2 PM, Anson Tan and his driver left their office in Manila heading to a residence on Marsa Street in Langka Village, Bulacan Province. They were invited by a woman involved in the case, who is described by the police as a Chinese national. Upon entering the residence, Tan and his group were imprisoned and killed 10 days later.

One of the suspects, David Tan Liao (alias "Xiao Changjiang", "Yang", "Jianmin", "Michael Agade Yong"), surrendered to the authorities on April 19. The police noted that he feared being silenced, hence he turned himself in. He had been arrested in 2009 for a kidnapping case and was identified as a habitual offender in multiple kidnapping cases involving Chinese nationals.

The other two suspects are Richard Austria David (also known as Richard Tan Garcia) and his brother-in-law Raymart Catequista, both charged with assisting in the murder and disposal of the bodies.

The police found the victims' clothing, binding tools (tape, nylon rope, handcuffs), and items used to remove fingerprints such as wet wipes and plastic bags at the crime scene. The luxury Lexus van driven by the victims was later found abandoned in Quezon City.

The police confirmed that the victims were murdered on the evening of April 8, and their bodies were discovered the next morning at 6 AM in the Macabud area of Rodriguez, Rizal Province. Both were bound, strangled, and discarded in nylon bags.

It is noteworthy that after the incident, Anson Tan's family received ransom messages demanding payments in cryptocurrency in installments, totaling up to 200 million pesos (approximately 20 million US dollars). The police stated that initially, the case seemed like extortion, but current investigations show a clear intent to kill, possibly involving more complex motives of settling scores.

Currently, two other Chinese nationals suspected of being the masterminds are still at large and have been listed by the police as "key figures." The Philippine National Police are collaborating with multiple departments to continue tracing the money flow and the underlying dark web structure. The case is still under further investigation.
