Wa State once again hands over 72 Chinese suspects to China.

On April 25th, the Wa State Judicial Committee handed over 71 Chinese nationals suspected of fraud and one suspect of other crimes, along with related materials, to the Chinese side at the Meng'a Port in Menglian County.

Recently, due to anti-telecom fraud operations in the areas surrounding Wa State, some individuals involved in telecom fraud activities have illegally crossed the border into the jurisdiction of Wa State. To solidify the achievements in combating telecom fraud in Wa State and to prevent the resurgence of such activities, strong measures have been taken.

Wa State identified and successfully dismantled four mobile fraud dens through a combination of tip-offs and public reporting. They arrested 71 Chinese nationals and seized 301 mobile phones, 31 computer devices (including 13 all-in-one machines, 9 laptops, and 9 tablets). On April 25th, the Wa State Judicial Committee transferred the aforementioned individuals and materials to the Chinese side.
