Recently, the Guo Congyuan kidnapping and murder case, which shocked the Chinese community in the Philippines, took a dramatic turn. According to the preliminary investigation report submitted to the Department of Justice by the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) of the Philippine National Police on April 19, the mastermind behind the case is suspected to be the victim's own son, 42-year-old Ronxian Guo, also known as Alvin Que.
The investigation revealed that Ronxian Guo and five other suspects were involved in the case, and the police are conducting further investigations on these individuals. During the kidnapping of Guo Congyuan and his driver, Ronxian Guo maintained contact with the kidnappers as a "family representative." However, police tracking of his transfer records found that he had paid a ransom of 10 million pesos to a cryptocurrency account linked to the suspects on March 31, and an additional 3 million pesos on April 2.
Shockingly, despite the high ransom payment, Guo Congyuan and his driver were still found murdered on April 9, their bodies abandoned in a remote area, with the manner of their deaths drawing significant public attention. After the incident, a suspect in custody confessed that the entire kidnapping plan was personally ordered by Ronxian Guo, with motives related to a family property dispute. Although the police have not yet disclosed further details of the motive, the suspect's confession has become a key clue in breaking the case.
The case is still under investigation, and the Department of Justice is working closely with the police to confirm whether Ronxian Guo was indeed the mastermind. If confirmed, this would be one of the most sensational intra-family crimes in the Chinese community in the Philippines in recent years.
The police urge the public not to believe or spread rumors and to wait for the judicial authorities to further disclose the truth of the case.

The shocking case of Guo Congyuan's kidnapping and murder that rocked the Filipino-Chinese community has taken a twist, with the suspected mastermind being the victim's own son.

It's kind of interesting.
I must have this son; I'd rather die than live without him. Farewell, President Guo.
The palace drama has begun.
