Philippines raids apartment, captures a Chinese national wanted for online fraud.

Recently, Philippine police raided an apartment in Parañaque City and successfully arrested a Chinese national suspected of involvement in transnational telecommunications fraud. According to the police report, the suspect is accused of assisting in transferring the funds of fraud victims to criminal group accounts, involving a substantial amount of money, and has been listed as an international fugitive.

During the operation, another Chinese national was arrested for possessing and using illegal drugs and is currently undergoing further investigation.

The Philippine police stated that they will continue to strengthen the screening and crackdown on foreign criminal suspects to prevent the spread of cybercrime and drug issues locally.
