Recently, the Sri Lankan government has fully launched a special operation to crack down on illegal employment, focusing on foreign nationals who work on tourist visas, overstay their visas, and affiliate with "shell companies". During the operation, hundreds of Chinese nationals have been investigated and deported back to their home country, and some employers have faced severe penalties, even risking license revocation.
According to local law enforcement agencies, typical cases recently investigated include:
Working with a tourist visa;
Staying beyond the visa expiration without timely departure;
Affiliating with fake companies through informal intermediaries;
Submitting forged labor contracts and other documents for visa application.
The Sri Lankan government has clearly stated that the Immigration Department, police, and labor department will jointly conduct continuous inspections. All illegal workers, once discovered, will be immediately deported and permanently blacklisted from re-entering the country.
This serves as a reminder to compatriots who are in Sri Lanka or planning to work there to ensure legal status and visa compliance, to avoid severe consequences due to taking chances.

Going to work normally is too difficult.
Go wherever the wild is and catch it there, it's so hard.
Where are you going, monster?
I heard that it's difficult to obtain a Sri Lankan visa.

Is it hard to hear and speak Khmer in Cambodia? Actually, it's not hard at all, it's just about not knowing, being lazy, and wishful thinking.
