The Philippine police recently launched a large-scale crackdown in the Northern Mindanao region. From August 1 to September 2, the police arrested 83 individuals involved in gambling, including 41 in Surigao del Norte, 32 in Agusan del Sur, and 5 each in the Dinagat Islands and Butuan City, with a total of 30,510 pesos in gambling funds seized on the spot.
